GRID STEP. You can print out the base construction lines and start drawing on tracing paper, or you can draw the grid layout yourself using the following steps.1) Draw a vertical rectangle that will define the conditional proportions and boundaries of the chosen drawing. 2) From the upper boundary of the rectangle draw two vertical lines that will divide the rectangle by 3 equal parts. 3) From the middle of the right boundary of the rectangle, draw one horizontal line equally dividing the shape. 4) Draw a horizontal line equally dividing the upper half of the rectangle. Similarly, draw a horizontal line equally dividing the bottom half of the rectangle.

STEP 1. Draw two ovals to form the top of the wings.

STEP 2. Add two ovals lower down to complete the silhouette of the wings.

STEP 3. Start drawing the outline of the fairy's head and body. Erase excess lines.

STEP 4. Mark out the outline of the fairy's dress. Sketch the outline of the fairy's dress. Draw the bases for the face and hands.

STEP 5. Draw the neck between the body and the head. Add arms and dress.

STEP 6. Draw eyes mouth and ears. Form the hair. On top of the head, draw three circles for the wreath. Outline the fingers and the flower in the hands. From under the skirt draw lines for the legs. Erase auxiliary lines.

STEP 7. Draw a wreath and a flower bud. Detail the eyes and draw the nose. Add creases to the dress and complete the legs and toes.

STEP 8. Draw the petals of the flower. Add the pupils of the fairy. Paint a pattern on the wings and collar.

STEP 9. Check that there are no extra lines in the drawing. Contour fairy, trying to vary the thickness and darkness of the line. Enjoy your drawing!
